Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks junior guard Lacey Phillips was named to the D3Hoops.com Team of the Week, it was announced on Wednesday.

Phillips was named the American Southwest Conference East Division Women’s Basketball Player of the Week Monday. The D3Hoops.com Team of the Week is named each week by D3Hoops.com executive director Pat Coleman and consists of five NCAA III players from across the country.

Phillips, a 5-foot-8 native of Clarksville, averaged 14.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 4.0 steals in two ASC road games last week. Phillips’ week was highlighted by near a triple double in the Lady Eagles’ first-ever road win over Mississippi College Saturday. Phillips scored 12 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, dished out nine assists and recorded five steals in the victory. Against No. 20 Louisiana College Thursday, Phillips scored 16 points and had three steals in a loss.

Phillips is averaging 9.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and a team-best 5.0 assists per game. She is tied for the team-lead in steals (2.3).

Phillips was joined on the five-man squad by Danielle Duncan, a junior center from Greensboro, Devin McGrath, a junior forward from St. Vincent, Katie DeWitt, a senior guard from Northwestern (Minn.), and Cydni Matsuoka, a freshman guard from Vassar.
