Local students put on award-winning production

The Clarksville Children’s Company Advance Performance Group presents Picnic. Cast and crew are all 6th-12th grade students from Clarksville and Russellville. Come out and see what these amazing, talented kids can do! Show dates and times are: Friday, Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28 at 1 p.m. All performances will be in the Walton Fine Arts Center on the Ozarks campus. Tickets are $5 each, with money raised going to support the free children’s theatre program. Due to the seating configuration for this production, only 85 tickets are available for each performance. To reserve tickets, email Ginny Sain, or call her at (479) 979-1346. You may pick up reserved tickets at the box office at the time of the show. The 1953 Pulitzer Prize winner for drama tells the story of Hal, a handsome young drifter who arrives on a hot summer day to shake up the very ordinary lives of Florence Owens, her two young daughters and their neighbors.
