Clarksville, Ark.-U of O senior Julie Richardson was named American Southwest Conference East Division Women's Tennis Player of the Week following her performance in a recent conference win.
Richardson, a native of Lindale, Texas, led the Lady Eagles to their first conference win against UT Dallas March 8 by winning both her No. 1 singles and doubles matches. Richardson dominated in singles, posting a 6-0, 6-1 win and gained an 8-4 doubles win. Richardson is a three-time team most valuable player and was named to the ASC All-East Division second team her sophomore and junior seasons. She is a graduate of Lindale High School.
