Clarksville, Ark.-U of O junior Julie Richardson was named American Southwest Conference East Division Women's Tennis Player of the Week following her performance in a recent conference win.
Richardson, a native of Lindale, Texas, posted a win at No. 1 singles to lead Ozarks to a 6-3 conference match victory against Austin College on April 5. Richardson was a 7-5, 6-0 winner in singles. The win was Richardson’s third for the first week of April. Richardson is a two-time team most valuable player and was named to the ASC All-East Division second team last year. She is a graduate of Lindale High School.
