Julie Richardson Named Assistant Tennis Coach

Clarksville, Ark.-Julie Richardson has been named the assistant tennis coach at University of the Ozarks, announced by athletics director Dave De Hart.

Richardson, a 2003 graduate of Ozarks, was a four-time American Southwest Conference All-East Division tennis player and a four-year captain of the Lady Eagles’ team. She was the recipient of the ASC Female Sportsmanship Award for the 2002-03 year and was voted by the Ozarks coaching staff as the school’s 2002-03 Female Athlete of the Year. She graduated magna cum laude with a degree in communications. “We are excited to have Julie as a member of our athletic staff,” said De Hart. “She was an outstanding student-athlete here and having excelled both in the classroom and on the court, she will be a wonderful role model for our future athletes.” Richardson is a native of Lindale, Texas.
