Clarksville, Ark.-Christina Jost has accepted the head women's basketball position at Northern New Mexico College, it was announced by Athletics Director Jimmy Clark Thursday.

Jost, who has been the head coach at Ozarks since the 2006-2007 season, led the Lady Eagles to the playoffs in her first season at the helm. Jost was the assistant coach for the Lady Eagles prior to her promotion to the head position. Jost coached seven All-Conference players during her tenure, including Mandi Carter, the program’s second all-time leading scorer and rebounder. The Lady Eagles went 5-20 this year.

Northern New Mexico College competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).

A nationwide search will begin immediately for her successor.
