Clarksville, Ark.-U of O junior forward Jenna Corbell of Ashdown was named to the women's basketball American Southwest Conference All-East Division First Team and was one of only five players selected to the All-ASC team.

Players from the 15 competing schools are eligible for All-ASC honors. Corbell, 5-10, finished second in the conference in scoring (20.3) and rebounding (9.9), fifth in field goal percentage (51%) and ninth in assists per game (3.6). "Jenna had a great year especially considering that teams were focused on stopping her," said head coach Jack Jones. "She had to work extra hard because teams were double teaming her. I knew if she stayed healthy she had the talent to put up All-America type numbers and she’s done that. She was the second leading scorer and rebounder in the league and was in the running for conference player of the year so I am obviously really happy for her." Corbell was the team leader in scoring, rebounding, field goal percentage and steals (1.7) and second on the team in assists and blocks (.5). She had 13 double-doubles this season and scored 30 or more points in five games while leading the Lady Eagles in scoring in 21 of their 25 games. She set a new school rebounding record by tallying 25 rebounds against Hendrix College December 30. Corbell was named ASC East Division Player of the Week twice this season. She was an All-East Division second team pick last year. The Lady Eagles (12-13, 6-6) finished third in the conference. Corbell is a 2000 graduate of Ashdown High School.
