Jeanne Randall Named ASC East Division Player of the Week

Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks senior forward Jeanne Randall was named the American Southwest Conference women's basketball East Division co-Player of the Week after averaging 24.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game to lead the Lady Eagles to a 2-0 mark in ASC play.

<#IMAGE:1#>The 5-10 native of Bryant, Ark., scored a team-high 25 points against Louisiana College, including nailing 4-of-7 from the three-point line, and grabbed 8 rebounds to help Ozarks to a 79-57 win on Thursday. In a 78-68 win against Mississippi College on Saturday, Randall had 23 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists to give the Lady Eagles their third straight ASC victory. During the two-game stretch Randall shot 50 percent from the field, 40 percent from the three-point line and 85 percent from the free throw line. She has scored 20 or more points in three straight games and has been in double figures in all but one game this season. Randall has started in 16 games for the Lady Eagles and is averaging 17.0 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. She is a three-time ASC All-Academic team honoree. She is a graduate of Bryant High School where she earned All-Conference, All-District and All-Conference honorable mention. She is also the starting catcher on Ozarks softball team.
