Clarksville, Ark.-Jared Gordon's second half goal secured a 1-0 victory over Mississippi College in league play in Clinton, Mississippi, on Friday.
Gordon nailed the game-winning shot in the 62nd minute of the second half to seal the victory. Aaron Pierson received the assist. Ozarks (9-1-2, 5-0-1) had 21 shots in the match, with 14 of those coming in the first half. Gordon, Ron Hogsett and Ryan Skelly each had five shots. Mississippi College dropped to 2-5-1. ????? Brian Sarber had 11 saves. Eight of Sarber’s saves came in the second half. ????? Ozarks will host Hardin-Simmons University on October 14 and McMurry University on October 15. Both matches start at 1:00 p.m.
