Brownwood, Texas-The Howard Payne women broke open a 1-0 halftime lead by scoring four second half goals en route to a 5-0 win over the Lady Eagles Saturday in American Southwest Conference play.
Howard Payne (4-3-0, 3-2-0 ASC) got a goal in the 43rd minute and then recorded 11 shots, seven corner kicks and four goals in the second half. Ozarks (2-9-0, 1-5-0 ASC) had trouble generating any offense as it recorded just one shot.
