Homecoming 2026 set for Oct. 15-18

University of the Ozarks will welcome several hundred alumni and friends back to campus for Homecoming 2026, scheduled for Oct. 15-18.

More than two dozen reunions, games and events are scheduled for the weekend, including many that are open to the public and have no cost for admission.

Homecoming 2026 begins on Thursday, Oct, 15, with a kickoff celebration and proclamation signing with University President Richard Dunsworth, Clarksville Mayor David Rieder and Johnson County Judge Herman Houston ’73 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on the campus mall. The event will include live music, yard games and food trucks. There will also be an Alumni Golf Tournament four-person scramble at Eagle Crest Golf Course in Alma, Ark., on Oct. 15, beginning at 1 p.m.

The highlights for Friday, Oct. 16, include, a Fall Choir Concert featuring the University Choir and an alumni choir at 4 p.m. in Munger-Wilson Chapel; an art exhibit featuring alumna Aubree Sisson ’19 from 3-4:30 p.m. in the Walton Fine Arts Center; men’s and women’s soccer matches against Hendrix College starting at 5 p.m. at the Wilson Athletic Complex; and the Ozarks Awards Ceremony ($25 per ticket) at 6 p.m. in the Rogers Conference Center.

The highlights for Saturday, Oct. 17, include, the Alumni Association Meeting at 9 a.m. in the Rogers Conference Center; an Ozarks Reunion/50-Year Club Luncheon ($10) at 11 a.m. in the Rogers Conference Center; the Home Run Hangout featuring family-friendly lawn games, food andan Ozarks baseball game at the Wilson Athletic Complex at 11 a.m.; a disc golf tournament at the fountain at 1 p.m.; a Chapel vow renewal ceremony at 2:30 p.m. at Munger-Wilson Chapel; a welcome reception at 3:30 p.m. for an alumni theatre presentation of “Love Letters” at 4 p.m. in the Black Box Theatre; the Wrestling Ring Ceremony at 4:00 p.m. in the Seay Theatre, and a Taste of Arkansas event ($10) in the backyard of the President’s House at 6 p.m.

Homecoming 2026 concludes on Sunday, Oct. 18, with an Ozarks Remembers Chapel Service at 10 a.m. in Munger-Wilson Chapel; a President’s Brunch ($15) at 11 a.m. in the Rogers Conference Center; and a pickleball tournament from 1-5 p.m. at the Alexander-Boreham Tennis Center courts.
