Hogsett’s Two Goals Push Ozarks Past Hendrix

Clarksville, Ark.-Ron Hogsett's two first half goals pushed the Eagles past Hendrix College 2-1 in Tuesday afternoon's non-conference match-up at Conway.

With the win, Ozarks (6-1-0, 2-0-0) avenges a 1-0 loss to the Warriors (1-5-1) from a year ago and increases their all-time record against Hendrix to 8-4-0. The Eagles also improve their winning streak to five matches and now have the most wins in the conference. ????? Hogsett scored early in the match when he connected on one of his five shots at the 3:25 mark. Jared Gordon received the assist. Hogsett blasted another shot through the net just before the first half ended in the 42nd minute. Malcolm Williams assisted on the play. ????? Hogsett, who leads the conference and team with seven goals and 15 points and has a 60.9 shots on goal percentage, led the team with five shots. Ryan Skelly followed with three shots. ????? Sophomore goalkeeper Jeffrey Enevoldsen picked up the win to improve to 2-0-0 on the season and recorded five saves. ????? Ozarks will have their conference home-opener against UT-Dallas on September 23 and then face UT-Tyler on September 24. Both matches begin at 1 p.m.
