Clarksville, Ark.-Ron Hogsett's hat trick propelled Ozarks to a 7-0 win over Central Baptist College in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon.

The Eagles (12-2-4, 7-1-3) tuned up for their final two regular season conference matches with an impressive display of offense and defense. Ozarks, who can host the American Southwest Conference playoff tournament with wins over Texas Lutheran and Schreiner this weekend, out shot the Mustangs 34-3. Ozarks also notched their tenth shutout of the year, tying the school record set during the 2002 season. The Eagles are receiving national recognition for their accomplishments this season. They are currently ranked sixth in the NCAA III central regional poll and tenth in the NSCAA/adidas central regional poll. It is the first time the men’s soccer program has been ranked in either poll. ????? Hogsett recorded his hat trick when he scored two goals in the first half and another goal early in the second half. Wilson Jones scored in the 38th minute to give Ozarks a 3-0 advantage at half time. Sebastian Teeling gave Ozarks their fifth score of the match in the 64th minute. Malcolm Williams added a goal of his own when he nailed a penalty kick in the 77th minute. Jones added another score in the 83rd minute. Williams, Teeling, Hogsett, Chris Estep, Darren Clark and Josh Carrasco all had assists in the match. Jones had a team-best seven shots. Ozarks goalkeeper Jeffrey Enevoldsen had three saves. The Eagles have already clinched a spot in the ASC championship tournament held November 4-6.
