Henson (8-4) came in relief and pitched two and two-third innings and accounted for one run. Kara Bartholomew went 4-for-5 and Stacy Simpson went 3-for-5 with 4 RBI. It was Joslin’s fifth home run of the season. In game two, Henson threw a two-hit shutout as the Lady Eagles took a 1-0 victory. A sacrifice RBI by Bartholomew scored Jessica Pianalto in the third, proving to be all Henson would need. The right-hander struck out three and did not issue a walk in seven innings of work. Jodie Clark went 2-for-2. The two teams square off Friday in a double-header beginning at 11:00 a.m.
