Clarksville, Ark.-Hendrix used two second half goals to upend the Lady Eagles 2-1 in Tuesday afternoon's non-conference match-up at Conway.

Ozarks (0-5-0, 0-2-0) had their best offensive performance of the season, but it wasn’t enough to overcome quick back-to-back second half goals by Hendrix (3-4-0). The Lady Warriors scored in the 55th minute and then posted another goal in the 57th minute to gain momentum early in the second half. Ozarks, however, countered with a goal of their own when Olivia Fisher connected on one of her eight shots to cut the deficit to 2-1 in the 68th minute. Fisher’s goal would give the Lady Eagles an offensive spark, but Hendrix’s goalkeeper would record five saves in the second half to fight off Ozarks’ comeback. ????? Ozarks had their best shooting day of the season as they recorded 16 shots, with nine of those being shots on goal. Fisher had a team-best eight shots. Terah McGill followed with four shots. ????? McGill received the assist on Fisher’s goal. ????? Freshman keeper Jessica Falls recorded 10 saves. ????? Ozarks will have their conference home-opener against UT-Dallas on September 23 and then face UT-Tyler on September 24. Both matches begin at 3 p.m.
