Clarksville, Ark.-Hendrix College picked up a 15-5 win over the Lady Eagles in game one Wednesday night, but the two teams will have to play again Thursday as game two was rain-shortened.

The Warriors (9-11) struck for four runs in the first and then tacked on six in the second to set the tone early on. Trailing 4-0, Ozarks rallied for a pair of runs in the top of the second on a Cassie Saorrono two-run double. Ozarks matched Hendrix in the hit category (11), but couldn’t get the timely hits necessary. Rebecca Groff and Emily Burns had RBI singles in the game.

Kelsea Morris (1-2) took the loss. Nicole Ashley, Kayla Harris, Groff and Burns each had two hits.

The final game of the twinbill went only three innings. Thursday’s single game will start at 5:00 p.m. in Conway.
