Clarksville, Ark.-Hendrix College scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the sixth to earn a 2-1 win over the Eagles Tuesday night in Conway.

Hendrix (11-15) scored a run in the first inning, giving the Warriors a 1-0 advantage until the sixth frame. Ozarks (12-4) evened the score in the top half of the inning when Nick Brill singled in a run. However, Hendrix came through with a clutch one-out single to score the game-winning run in the bottom half.

Ozarks had its chances late in the game, but couldn’t get the timely hits it needed. The Eagles had runners in scoring position in the eighth and the ninth, but couldn’t push either run across.

Nathan Cedor pitched five solid innings as the starter. Oscar Dominguez (0-1) was charged with the loss.

Tony Morales went 2-for-4 for Ozarks.

Ozarks will host conference foe Texas-Tyler in a three-game series March 28-29.
