Clarksville, Ark.-Hendrix College scored two quick goals to set the tone for a 5-0 shutout win over the Eagles Tuesday night in non-conference soccer action.
Connor Silvestri scored in the 4th minute and Jacob Pierce added a goal in the 9th minute for Hendrix (2-0-1). Silvestri would score once more in the 19th minute to give the Warriors a commanding 3-0 lead. Hendrix wasn’t finished as it netted a goal in the 39th minute for a 4-0 halftime advantage.
Ozarks (0-1-1) totaled seven shots in the match and did not record a single corner kick.
Ozarks starting goalkeeper Matt Mouer had three saves in 18 minutes of action. Andrew Cummings recorded three saves in 72 minutes of play.
Ozarks will travel to Missouri to face Westminster University September 7 and Fontbonne University September 8.
