Clarksville, Ark.-The Lady Eagles dropped a 80-56 decision to Hendrix College on Saturday in a non-conference battle of two long-time rivals.
The Lady Eagles (1-6, 1-3) suffered from a poor afternoon of shooting and were unable to make a second half comeback after trailing 38-15 at intermission. Hendrix (3-3) jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead at the midway point of the first half and maintained control of the contest for the remainder of the game. Ozarks shot 19-of-76 (25%) from the field in the game. The Lady Eagles did force 24 turnovers on the defensive end. Lori Moon led the team with 15 points. Erica Eneks scored 11 points. Olivia Fisher had a team-best 7 rebounds. The Lady Eagles will travel to Kerrville, Texas, to face Schreiner University on January 2.
