Clarksville, Ark.--Hendrix College came away with a 3-0 win on Tuesday afternoon at Hurie Soccer Field.
The Lady Warriors (2-0-0, 0-0-0) scored their first goal just thirty seconds into the match on Jesse Miller’s first of three goals on the day. Miller added her second score in the 8th minute to put Hendrix up 2-0. Ozarks battled back in the second half and opened up some scoring opportunities when Jessalyn Halsted recorded two shots on goal. The Lady Eagles (0-3-0, 0-0-0), however, were unable to slow down Miller as she finished her hat trick with her third goal in the 86th minute. The Lady Eagles did record 13 shots and Hendrix had 14 shots in the contest. Halsted had a team-best six shots. Ozarks next match will be on September 11 when the Lady Eagles travel to Lyon College.
