Clarksville, Ark.-Hendrix College handed Ozarks their twelfth straight loss by outlasting the Eagles 18-12 Tuesday night in Conway.
Ozarks (4-25) scored four runs in the second frame only to see Hendrix (14-14) produce seven runs in the fourth to take a 10-5 lead. Chris Young and Nick Brill each had RBI in the second. Young doubled in a pair of runs in the seventh to pull Ozarks within 11-7, but Hendrix put the game out of reach with six runs in the bottom half of the inning. In the eighth, Ian Bryan drove in Mitchell Powers and Young stayed hot by bringing in three runs with a triple.
Young finished 2-for-4 with six RBI.
Freddy Prince (0-2) went three and two-third to receive the loss.
Ozarks will travel to Clinton, Mississippi, to face Mississippi College April 8-9.
