Harding Ties No. 24 Eagles

Clarksville, Ark. - The University of the Ozarks men's soccer team tied Harding University 0-0 on Saturday in non-conference play in Searcy.

After the two overtime contest, No. 24 Ozarks goes to 4-0-1 on the year while Harding moves to 1-4-1.

Goalkeeper Brian Sarber came up big with four saves on 13 Bison shots. Ozarks totaled 10 shots, with Joseph Lokang recording three of those. Ozarks had three shots in the first half, with Matt Engelman firing one off the crossbar in the 22nd minute. A defensive battle ensued and the match eventually went into overtime. The Eagles made a strong push for a goal in overtime as they out shot Harding 3-1 in the final twenty minutes.

The shutout is the second of the season for Ozarks.

The Eagles will host Tabor College on Monday starting at 5:00 p.m.
