Clarksville, Ark.-Sophomore midfielder Kristi Gordon scored the game-winning goal in the 50th minute to pull out a 1-0 win over Concordia University Texas Thursday in American Southwest Conference play.
The Lady Eagles (8-10-0, 6-6-0) now have the most wins in program history. After a first half in which Concordia (3-10-2, 3-9-0) out shot Ozarks 7-5, the Lady Eagles came up with the biggest shot of the match as Gordon connected on a goal. Chelsea Coleman received the assist. It was Gordon’s first goal of the season.
Ozarks will take on UT-Tyler in Tyler, Texas, November 1 at 1:00 p.m.
