Glasscock, Richards Tabbed As All-Conference Players

Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks freshmen tennis players Chelsea Glasscock and Tara Richards were named to the American Southwest Conference All-East Division Honorable Mention Team as voted on by the league's head coaches, the ASC office announced Tuesday.

Glasscock, a native of Prairie Grove, earned Honorable Mention All-Conference in both singles and doubles action. Glasscock played the No. 4 singles position in ASC competition, posting a 4-2 mark against conference opponents. She ended her freshman campaign with a 5-6 overall singles mark. In doubles action, she went 4-2 in ASC play and 5-6 overall.

Richards joined Glasscock as an ASC All-East Division Honorable Mention pick in doubles play.

Richards, from Henderson, Nevada, had a 4-2 doubles record in conference play and a 5-7 overall doubles record.
