Four Earn ASC All-Academic Status

Clarksville, Ark.-Four University of the Ozarks women's basketball players have been named to the 2008-2009 American Southwest Conference All-Academic team, it was announced by ASC Media Relations Director Greg Weghorst.

To be eligible for ASC All-Academic honors, student-athletes must have lettered in the 2008-2009 season, be in at least their second academic year at their institution, and carry a career grade-point average of 3.00 or better.

Named to the team were: Ally Goddard, a sophomore Early Childhood Education major from Siloam Springs, Ark.; Kayla Quertermous, a sophomore Physical Education education major from Sullivan, Mo.; Olivia Fisher, a senior Biology major from Mountain Home, Ark.; and Kasie Osmond, a senior Strategic Communications major from Pierce City, Mo.
