Four Basketball Players Named To ASC All-Academic Team

Clarksville, Ark. - Four University of the Ozarks student-athletes have been recognized by the American Southwest Conference as Academic All-Conference award recipients in men's and women's basketball for the 2007-08 season, it was announced by the league office on Monday.

The women’s basketball squad placed three athletes on the team: junior business administration major Emma Bottorff from Farmington; senior sociology/environmental studies major Erica Eneks from Mountainburg; and junior biology major Olivia Fisher from Mountain Home.

Clint McHenry, a senior marketing major from Sallisaw, Okla., represented the men’s basketball team.

To be eligible for ASC All-Academic honors, student-athletes must have lettered during 2007-2008 basketball season, be in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a career grade-point average of 3.00 or better.
