Clarksville, Ark.-Olivia Fisher garnered her second weekly basketball award when she was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week, it was announced Wednesday by D3hoops.com editor and publisher Pat Coleman.

The senior from Mountain Home, Ark., was named the American Southwest Conference East Division Player of the Week on Monday. Fisher, a 6-foot forward, had her best game of the season against Texas Lutheran University Saturday when she grabbed 23 rebounds and scored 24 points. Her rebounding total was the most in a single game in the ASC since the 2002-03 season and was three shy of breaking the school record. Fisher was especially effective in the second half comeback, scoring 15 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. On Thursday against Schreiner University, Fisher pulled down 14 rebounds. For the week, she averaged 15.5 points, 18.5 rebounds and three steals while leading Ozarks to a pair of conference wins. Over the two-game stretch, she went a combined 9-for-11 from the free throw line and made both of her three-point attempts.

Fisher, who won the league’s rebounding title during the 2007-08 season, ranks sixth in the conference in rebounding (9.3) and fourteenth in steals (2.1).

The three-sport star has been ASC Player of the Week in soccer, tennis and basketball at Ozarks.

Fisher was joined on the team by Jessica Jamrogowicz, a junior guard from Washington College (MD), Melanie Auguste, a senior guard from Colorado College, Kathryn Stockbower, a senior forward from Swarthmore (PA) and Myrtle Reilly, a freshman center from Webster (MO). The Team of the Week is in its 12th season and recognizes the top performance at each five positions from the previous week. It is selected by D3hoops.com staff from nominations by Sports Information Directors.

She is the granddaughter of Betty Fisher and the late Jim Fisher of Hot Springs and Mike and Toni Fisher of Mountain Home.
