Clarksville, Ark.-For the second straight week junior goalkeeper Olivia Fisher has been named American Southwest Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
<#IMAGE:1#>Fisher, a 6-1 native of Mountain Home, posted 38 saves over three matches to help the Lady Eagles to a 2-0-1 mark last week. Fisher allowed just two goals in 309 minutes and recorded at least ten saves in each match against Hendrix, Agnes Scott and Oglethorpe. She has 49 saves on the season and owns a 0.35 goals against average. Fisher has been a mainstay in helping the Lady Eagles (3-0-2, 0-0-0) off to one of the best starts in the program’s history as Ozarks remains unbeaten through five matches. She is a graduate of Mountain Home High School. Ozarks will open American Southwest Conference play this weekend when they travel to Tyler, Texas, to face UT-Tyler on September 15. The Lady Eagles will then head to Austin, Texas, to face Concordia-Austin on September 16.
