Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles couldn't recover from a poor first half shooting performance as UT-Dallas handed them a 74-51 loss on Saturday in American Southwest Conference action.

Ozarks (8-10, 5-9) made just 3-of-18 (16%) from the floor in the first half and trailed 36-15 going into intermission. UT-Dallas (14-5, 10-4) shot only 37 percent from the floor, but did hit four three-pointers in the first half. Things didn’t get much better for Ozarks in the second half as they only hit 12-of-33 (37%) from the field.

Habeeb Kareem carried Ozarks with 16 points. Chris Williams added 10.

Ozarks will host University of Texas-Tyler on February 7.
