Faculty, staff members recognized during Trustees’ Awards Banquet

The University of the Ozarks Board of Trustees presented its annual faculty and staff awards during the 2013 Trustees' Awards Banquet, held April 26 in the Rogers Conference Center.

Among the recipients for 2013 were (pictured, from left) Professor of Religion Dr. David Daily, Postmaster Francie Kenner, Associate Professor of Art Tammy Harrington, Physical Plant Maintenance Manager Mike Qualls, and Associate Professor of Spanish Dr. Bill Clary.

Harrington and Clary received the Richard and Katherene Bagwell Outstanding Faculty Award. Kenner was honored with the Arnold G. Sims Outstanding Support Staff Award and Qualls earned the Alvin C. Broyles Outstanding Professional Staff Award. Daily was presented the 2013 President’s Above and Beyond Outstanding Service Award.

Several other faculty members also received service awards, including Dr. Bill Doria, Glenda Ezell, Eric Leon, Deborah Sisson, Carolyn Walker, Eddie Wood and Glenda Wood for 10 years of service; Felecia Atkinson, Lou Chapman, Susan Edens, Karen Raburn and Kimberly Spicer for 15 years of service; Dawn Dvoracek for 20 years of service; and Debby Mooney and Stuart Stelzer for 30 years of service. University President Dr. Rick Niece and former Director of Development Reba Pridgin were also recognized as 2013 retirees.
