The Department of Education announced a further delay to release batches of FAFSA information (ISIRs) to schools until the first half of March.

Evans, Eagles Use Strong Second Half

Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles scored three second half goals to move past East Texas Baptist University 5-3 Friday in American Southwest Conference play.

Ozarks (10-4-1, 6-3-1) trailed 1-0 early in the first half, but Scott Janders tied it when he scored on a header in the 23rd minute. Brandon VanCleave received the assist on his corner kick. East Texas Baptist (4-6-2, 4-4-1) quickly answered with a goal by Richard Andrews to make it 2-1. That didn’t last long as Francisco Garza scored in the 39th minute. With the score at 2-2, Dylan Evans gave Ozarks a 3-2 advantage in the second half in the 61st minute. The Tigers did tie it again in the 81st minute, but Evans was too much for the Tigers as he scored with just over six minutes left to play. Garza received the assist. Shaun Renfro added a security goal late in the match to make it 5-3.

Ozarks held a 18-7 shots advantage in the match. Neil Thompson made one save in goal for the Eagles.

Ozarks will continue ASC play when it plays LeTourneau University this Saturday.
