Clarksville, Ark.-In their final match of the 2010 fall season, the women's tennis team fell 5-4 to highly-regarded Evangel University Saturday in Clarksville.
The Lady Eagles have continued to make vast improvement this fall under head coach Shaun Wiseman. Last year, Evangel topped the Lady Eagles 9-0. Earlier this year, Ozarks defeated Hendrix College, 5-4. The Lady Eagles also produced a strong showing at the ASC Individual Tournament last month.
In singles play, winners included Chelsea Glasscock (6-4, 4-6, 1-0), Nichole Cook (6-1, 6-4) and Tara Richards (default). In doubles action, Glasscock and Cook teamed up for a 8-1 victory.
