Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles were unable to come back from a 43-36 halftime deficit in their tightly contested East Division match-up as East Texas Baptist took a 86-71 victory.
The Tigers shot 51 percent from the field in the first half and nailed 10-of-13 free throws while holding Ozarks to a 43 percent clip from the field. East Texas Baptist had five players score in double figures. The Eagles were led by senior forwards Michael Bollman and Shane Norrid. Bollman of Clarksville recorded a team-best 20 points and nine rebounds. Norrid of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, added 13 points.
