Clarksville, Ark.-The Lady Eagles dropped a 88-72 decision to East Texas Baptist University in American Southwest Conference on Saturday.

The Lady Eagles (4-21, 4-18) trailed by just one point at halftime, but couldn’t overcome a solid second half shooting performance by East Texas Baptist University (10-15, 10-12) in their final game of the season. Ozarks held the lead or tied the game on several occasions in the second half, but ETBU would hit timely baskets to hold off a Lady Eagles’ comeback. Ozarks cut the deficit to 73-69 with 4:54 remaining after Lori Moon hit a three-pointer. However, the Lady Tigers used a 15-3 spurt to finish the contest after Moon’s bucket. Lindsey Nietert scored a season-high 24 points and hit 4-of-8 from the three-point line. Erica Eneks followed with 16 points and Olivia Fisher added 10 points. Fisher and Nietert each had six rebounds.
