Clarksville, Ark.--The Lady Eagles fell 4-3 to East Texas Baptist University in American Southwest Conference play on Saturday afternoon in an overtime match at Hurie Field.

The Lady Eagles (1-5-0, 1-1-0) held a 3-2 lead in the 84th minute but were unable to pull out their second ASC win after dropping a 4-3 heart-breaking loss to the visitors in overtime. Lindy Swatzell scored her sixth goal of the week in the 8th minute on a pass from Jessalyn Halsted to give Ozarks a quick 1-0 advantage. ETBU (3-1-0, 1-1-0) answered with a goal in the 30th minute. Not to be outdone, Halsted nailed a shot five minutes later to put the Lady Eagles back on top. ETBU would later tie the score before Swatzell struck again in the 84th minute. Halsted set up the shot for Swatzell. The Lady Tigers would then send the game into overtime and pull out the victory on a goal in the second overtime period. Ozarks recorded 14 shots on the day with Swatzell and Halsted tallying 5 apiece. Ozarks will travel to Tyler, Texas, to face UT-Tyler on September 24 and Richardson, Texas, on September 25 to face UT-Dallas in conference play.
