Clarksville, Ark.-Josh Carrasco's header in the 37th minute gave Ozarks a 1-0 victory over Texas Lutheran University and put the Eagles in position to host the American Southwest championship Conference tournament with a win against Schreiner University tomorrow.

Carrasco took a feed from Lars Nyberg and knocked it over the keeper’s head for the game-winner. Carrasco’s crucial goal was his second game-winner of the 2005 campaign. Ozarks (13-2-4, 8-1-3) out shot the Bulldogs 6-1 in first half play. Texas Lutheran (5-11-1, 4-7-1) came back in the second half and recorded a 4-3 shot advantage. Ozarks had five shots on goal in the match and held the Bulldogs to just one. With their eleventh shutout of the season, the Eagles set a new school record. Carrasco and Ryan Skelly each had two shots. Ozarks keeper Brian Sarber had one save.Ozarks, ranked sixth in the NCAA III central regional poll and tenth in the NSCAA/adidas central regional poll, will have revenge on their mind against Schreiner after dropping a 2-1 decision to the Mountaineers last season in Kerrville, Texas. With a win tomorrow, the Eagles would host the six-team ASC tournament as the number-one seed. The Eagles could still win the ASC regular season championship with a win against Schreiner and if UT-Tyler drops their match to LeTourneau tomorrow. Tomorrow’s match is designated as Senior Day.
