Eagles Use Second Half Comeback Against Wildcats

Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles (12-6), (5-1) defeated LC 98-91 in ASC play.

The Eagles needed a second half comeback to outlast the Wildcats. After shooting 36% from the field in the first half, the Eagles shot 58% in the second half to outscore the Wildcats 62-48 in the second half. Geoffrey Owens led U of O with a career high 28 points. Owens, making his first start of the year, hit 12 of 20 field goals and grabbed a team high 12 rebounds. Brent Johnson added 20 points and Mandrell Howell had 14 points. Ricky Johnson chipped in 12 points.
