Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks men's tennis team defeated Louisiana College 5-4 in a rain-shorten American Southwest Conference match on March 31 in Pineville, La.
<#IMAGE:1#>Ozarks improves to 2-4 overall and 1-2 in conference play. Keith Edwards, Tyler Timms and Michael Laws each won singles matches. Edwards defeated his opponent 6-1, 6-2. Timms gained a 6-1, 6-1 victory, while Laws beat his opponent 6-1, 6-1. Brandon Carlson and Tyler Wilson won in doubles play, 8-2. Timms and Laws won 8-0. Two singles matches were not played as a result of inclement weather. The Eagles will host LeTourneau University on March 4 at 2:30 p.m.
