Richardson, Texas-The Eagles had a tough shooting night Monday against Texas-Dallas hitting only four field goals in the first half en route to a 67-50 loss in American Southwest Conference play.

The Eagles (7-17, 4-14 ASC) made 4-of-31 (13%) in the first half, but trailed only 12-6 at the midway point of the half. Ozarks climbed within 15-11 after a Kris McCrary dunk and free throw with 6:26 left. Things quickly went sour for Ozarks as it did not make another field goal the rest of the half.

Trailing 33-13 to begin the second half, Ozarks cut the deficit to single digits with under six minutes to play. But Texas-Dallas (18-6, 13-5 ASC) finished strong and outscored Ozarks 17-9 in the final 5:39.

Andrew Cummings led Ozarks with 14 points. Ronnie Dodd followed with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Ozarks will end the season against LeTourneau University February 14 in Clarksville.
