Clarksville, Ark.-Kendrae Carter's jumper with two seconds left in overtime lifted LeTourneau University to a 81-79 win over the Eagles Thursday night in American Southwest Conference play.

It appeared the game could go into a second overtime when Marcus Bobb hit a shot with 15 seconds to play, but Carter came through with his team-high 22nd point to disappoint the Eagles (6-18, 3-16 ASC). Andre Williams netted a trademark three-pointer with 30 seconds left in regulation to give Ozarks a 74-72 advantage. However, Ozarks committed a foul with less than five seconds left and sent Jace Williamson to the free throw line. Williamson made both attempts and a missed jumper at the buzzer by Bobb sent the game into overtime.

Bobb was nearly unstoppable in the first half as he made 8-of-9 from the floor and scored 19 points. The YellowJackets (3-21, 2-17 ASC) held the lead late in the first half before Jermery Victor hit a three with three seconds left to give Ozarks a 45-44 halftime advantage. The biggest lead by either team in the second half came when LeTourneau held a 58-50 advantage at the 14:11 mark. Ozarks eventually took a 67-66 on Bobb’s jumper with 4:37 remaining.

Bobb scored a team-high 30 points. Williams added 21 points, while David Robertson had 12 and Victor finished with 10.

Saturday’s game against Texas-Tyler will be both Senior Day and Homecoming. Andre Williams, the team’s only senior, will be honored prior to the game.
