Clarksville, Ark.- Bruce Cameron scattered eight hits and struck out six in six and two-third innings and three different Ozarks' players had two RBI as the Eagles cruised to a 8-5 non-conference win over Rogers State University on Monday in Claremore, Okla.

The Eagles (15-15, 3-6) collected four hits in the opening frame, and Robby Finnell and Jimmy Pannell each knocked in a pair of runs to give Ozarks a quick 4-0 lead. Ozarks scored again in the top of the second on an Andrew Teaster single. Ozarks held a 7-0 advantage after three and one-third innings as they scored two more in the top of the third on a RBI by Cory Briggs and Logan Kizer. Rogers State (22-15) answered with two runs in the bottom half of the inning to make it 7-2. Briggs added another RBI in the fourth to give Ozarks a 8-2 advantage. Rogers State had little success against the hard-throwing Cameron as he struck out six in the first six innings and issued only two walks. The Hillcats made a rally in the bottom of the seventh, scoring three times behind two hits and two errors, but John Glenn and John Scheuring kept the Hillcats hitless the rest of the game. Cameron (2-1) received the win. He did not give up any earned runs. Ozarks out hit Rogers State 15-8. Briggs went 3-for-4. The Eagles will travel to Longview, Texas, to face LeTourneau University on April 5 and April 6.
