Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles pushed their win streak to three games with a convincing 83-64 American Southwest Conference victory over Louisiana College Thursday night.

Ozarks (8-14, 5-12 ASC) kept its playoff hopes alive with the win and will host Mississippi College Saturday in its final home game of the season. That game has been designated as Senior Day, Sports Hall of Fame Day and Homecoming. Senior Colby Woolverton will be honored prior to the men’s contest.

Against Louisiana College (7-12, 7-10 ASC), the Eagles got 27 points and 10 rebounds from Bryton Flint. Flint, who came off the bench, hit 10-of-15 from the field in just 23 minutes of action. The Wildcats didn’t have an answer for Flint in the second half, as the 6-foot-4 guard poured in 23 points. The Eagles held a 40-29 halftime lead behind the scoring of eight different players. Ozarks led by 15 points on two occasions in the first half.

The second half belonged to Flint, who gave Ozarks its largest lead at that point (16 points) with a three-pointer at the 16:39 mark. He then scored seven straight points to increase the advantage to 58-36 with 14:14 remaining. Louisiana College cut it to 68-53 with 7:45 left, but wouldn’t get any closer.
