Clarksville, Ark.-U of O freshman Josh Ferrell led all players with 27 points after hitting seven 3-pointers, freshman Jordan Kaluanga hit a double-double with 11 rebounds and 13 points, and senior Ricky Allen also hit a double-double with 13 points and 12 assists as the University of the Ozarks Eagles (1-0) picked up a 134-70 win over Baptist Bible College (1-1) Saturday afternoon.
The Patriots started off the game with a field goal from Rylan Pryor, but this would be the last lead Baptist Bible would have. Ozarks took the game and did not look back, pushing its lead to 28 (60-32) after Ferrell’s fifth 3-pointer at the 4:15 mark of the first half.

The Eagles led by as 34 (70-36) in the closing minutes of the first half before going into the break.
Ozarks dominated the paint in the first half, outscoring BBC 22-8, and held a 20-3 advantage in points off turnovers and 6-0 off fast break points. The Eagles held BBC to a 31.0 percent shooting (9-29) while forcing 15 first-half turnovers.
The second half was more of the same as Ozarks built a 68-point lead (122-54) off a good layup from Kaluanga with 4:32 left to play, winning the game by a final margin of 64 points.
For the game, Ozarks held a 50-18 advantage in points in the paint, a 33-7 advantage in points off of turnovers, a 14-0 advantage in fast-break points, and a 79-30 advantage in bench points. The Eagles shot 58.3 percent for the contest, including 64.1 percent in the first half, and held a 57-36 advantage in rebounding .
Freshman Josh Berard added 16 points and sophomore Spencer Coomer finished with 11. Allen totaled five steals.
Ozarks will travel to Irving, Texas for a game against Austin College on November 22 at 7:00 p.m.
