Clarksville, Ark.-Ozarks remained perfect on the season while going 2-0 at the Kyle Rote Jr. Invitational with a 3-1 win over Birmingham Southern Sunday in Sewanee, Tenn.
Shaun Renfro scored the match’s first goal in the first half. Following a Birmingham Southern goal early in the second half to tie the match, Ozarks (4-0-0) answered with a Ryan Cooper goal. Brandon Pierson then followed with a goal to make it 3-1.Birmingham Southern falls to 1-3-0.
Ozarks will travel to Searcy to face Harding University September 13.
