Clarksville, Ark.- The University of the Ozarks men's soccer team took a 4-0 setback in their American Southwest Conference season-opener in Tyler, Texas, on Friday afternoon.
The Patriots (3-1-1, 1-0-0) scored a pair of goals in each half to give Ozarks (2-2-1, 0-1-0) its second loss of the season. UT-Tyler got goals in the 16th and 40th minutes and then added two more in the 46th and 61st. UT-Tyler out shot the Eagles 18-11. Brandon VanCleave had a team-best 3 shots. Brian Sarber had 7 saves. Jeffrey Enevoldsen had 2 saves in 20 minutes of play.
