Memphis, Tenn.-The University of the Ozarks men?s soccer team opened the season with a 2-0 win over Millsaps College Saturday afternoon in Memphis.
Cesar Cuevas scored on an assist from Cameron Wagner for a 1-0 lead. Cuevas returned the favor on a pass to Eloy Salgado, who connected on a goal. The Eagles (1-0-0) outshot Millsaps (0-2-0) 16-5 in the match.
“Everybody played well today,” said head coach John Cossaboon. “It was a good solid effort all day.”
Ozarks will play Rhodes College tomorrow at 4:00 pm.
