Eagles Lose Conference Matches In Texas

Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles traveled to Texas over the weekend to play American Southwest Conference matches against University of Texas-Tyler September 19 and University of Texas-Dallas September 21.

The Eagles (2-4-1), (0-2-1) lost each of their road matches. Ozarks dropped a 3-0 decision to UT-Tyler (5-0-0), (3-0-0) on Friday. The Eagles out shot the Patriots 13-10 in the match, but gave up three first half goals. The Eagles had ten shots on goal. Justin Goodman led the team with four shots. Goalkeeper Chris Schultz had four saves. The Eagles were unable to overcome a 2-0 half time deficit to UT-Dallas (4-3-0), (2-0-0) and ended the game with a 3-0 loss. Ozarks recorded nine shots against the Comets. Schultz had nine saves. Ozarks will host Louisiana College September 26 and Mississippi College September 27 in ASC matches. The men’s matches are set to start at 3 p.m.
