Clarksville, Ark.--The Eagles claimed a 3-1 victory over Lyon College on Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference match-up.

Will Brahic and Justin Goodman led a solid offensive attack to help the Eagles even their record to 5-5-0 and avenge a loss to the Scots last season. Brahic turned in his best performance of the year, pacing Ozarks with two goals and giving the home team momentum throughout the match. Brahic scored his first goal at the 1:40 mark on a pass from Ron Hogsett. Goodman followed with a score in the 25th minute to give the Eagles a 2-0 advantage at halftime. Hogsett received his seventh assist this season with the goal. Lyon (7-4-0) cut the lead to 2-1 on a penalty kick in the 82nd minute. However, Brahic scored his third goal of the season in the 87th minute to give an already noisy Ozarks’ student section more to cheer about. Brahic now has three goals and three assists this year. Jared Gordon had the assist. Ozarks continues to out shoot its opponents and Tuesday’s match was no different. The Eagles gained 17 shots while limiting Lyon to six. Ozarks has out shot their opponents 181-101 thus far in the season. Brahic recorded a team-best eight shots and Goodman and Gordon had three apiece. Goalkeeper Jeffrey Enevoldsen had two saves in his first career start. Enevoldsen was relieved in the second half by Chris Schultz, who had one save. Ozarks will host conference rival Austin College on October 2 at 3 p.m.
