Clarksville, Ark.--Five U of O pitchers combined to six-hit Hendrix College in route to a 3-1 win on Wednesday afternoon in Conway.

Hendrix held a 1-0 lead for two innings, but timely hitting tied the game in the third and later put the Eagles ahead for good. In the third, Brian Heckmann reached on an error and crossed the plate two batters later when Caleb Hilton singled to left field. In the fourth, Anthony Brandon hit his fourth homer of the year to give Ozarks a 2-1 edge. In the seventh, Justin Brown knocked in Chris Harrell, who reached base on a walk earlier in the inning. That would be all Ozarks needed as the Eagle pitchers limited the Warriors to three hits after taking the lead in the fourth. Brown, Brandon and Brett Hays each had two hits. Dustin Cole (1-0) received the win after pitching three innings and gave up only one hit. The Eagles travel to Longview, Texas, to face LeTourneau for a three-game series on April 15-16. In their final ASC series of the season, the Eagles will host division leader Louisiana College.
