Longview, Texas-Junior midfielder Shaun Keane scored with just seconds remaining in regulation giving the Eagles much-needed momentum only to have LeTourneau net the game-winner in the 94th minute to post a 4-3 win in American Southwest Conference play Saturday.

LeTourneau (4-9-1, 2-3-0 ASC) jumped out to a 2-0 halftime lead and then added another goal in the 54th minute to take a commanding 3-0 advantage. However, the Eagles (6-5-2, 1-3-1 ASC) responded with quick back-to-back goals minutes later to narrow the deficit to 3-2. Marcus Aldaba scored both goals, his first coming after winning the ball in the box. His second would come in the 61st minute when he navigated through the defense and ripped one past the goalkeeper. Ozarks would continue to mount its comeback when Keane scored a dramatic goal with just 25 seconds left in regulation. On that offensive attack, Thomas Mills found Keane emerging down the flank for the game-tying header. But LeTourneau’s Edwin Raudales ruined the possible come-from-behind win with a break-away goal in the 94th minute.

The Eagles had the upper hand on all the offensive statistics. Ozarks totaled 24 shots, with 15 of those on frame. Ozarks also had nine corner kicks.

Jarett Sadler had four saves in goal for Ozarks.

Ozarks will host Concordia University Texas October 17 and Mary Hardin-Baylor October 19. Saturday’s match is designated as “Senior Day” for both the Lady Eagles and Eagles.
